Jae Y. Kim, Esq.

Jae Y. Kim is a former Judge of the Central Municipal Court of Bergen County and an attorney at law with a practice focused on bankruptcy law, collections, commercial litigation, commercial transactions and real estate. Formerly a partner with a major northern New Jersey law firm, he also worked with the bankruptcy department of a national law firm before opening his own law offices approximately sixteen (16) years ago. Mr. Kim has represented secured and unsecured creditors, consumer and corporate debtors, as well as Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustees and Assignee for the Benefit of Creditors in the Federal and State Courts of New York and New Jersey. Along with domestic clients, Mr. Kim represents foreign clients, including but not limited to, the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation (the "KDIC") in collection matters within New York and New Jersey. Having practiced law for 25 years, Mr. Kim is admitted to the state and federal courts of New Jersey as well as all districts of New York.
